Information for vendors

We currently are working with different wireless device vendors out there and are trying to address their concerns for FOSS driver development. A lot of current concerns are legal due to regulatory compliance. The document bellow summarizes our current stance on enhancing our vendor support.

In July 2007, the [http://www.softwarefreedom.org Software Freedom Law Center] released a white paper describing the implications of Software Defined Radio (SDR) FCC classifications on open source drivers. This may be useful to vendors with regulatory concerns.
