Information for vendors

We currently are working with different wireless device vendors out there and are trying to address their concerns for FOSS driver development. A lot of current concerns are legal due to regulatory compliance. The document below summarizes our current stance on enhancing our vendor support.

In July 2007, the Software Freedom Law Center released a white paper describing the implications of Software Defined Radio (SDR) FCC classifications on open source drivers. This may be useful to vendors with regulatory concerns.
