2.6.33 has been released with about 900 patches touching wireless code.

A lot of the changes were simply internal cleanups like reactoring wireless extensions.

Among the feature changes:

  • mac80211 mesh code is updated to draft 3.03
  • 4-address support for AP/STA bridging (TODO: link to docs)
  • channel noise can be reported in cfg80211
  • ...
